George was born, brought up and even schooled in Thika, a small town 45 kms north of Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. During his young age, he was working with his father in a Timber Company; where they were buying, cut and ferrying trees from the lower Aberdares forest. After a while, George realized that the forests were fast disappearing and since he was a member of the Wildlife Club he decide start conserving the same forest again. Through different forest conservation petitions, George even managed to convince his father to stop the business of logging. Later he decided to join one of the leading Tourism and Related Studies School in Nairobi, where he graduated as a safari driver guide.

He has worked for many leading safari companies in East Africa and even worked in a couple of East Africa's top Lodges and modern Semi-permanent Tented Camps, as a resident driver-guide. Besides that, he has also worked as a Resident Naturalist in a couple of lodges, where he was guiding the bird walks and nature walks, as well as giving slide talks on birds and mammals of the respective region. George has always liked to work for a company that offer's specialist safaris and although he has enjoyed his working relationship with other companies he has worked for, he decided to join us in 2005. He mainly likes to guide our wildlife tours, although occasionally he driver-guide’s our birding safaris.

Ever since he joined the tourism industry and studied about the attractions of East Africa, he has greatly appreciated the flora and fauna of his beloved country and hence he has every reason to share his wide knowledge and experience with anyone willing to visit his region.
